Job Description:
The Plater is responsible for performing all aspects of the plating process including
preparation, masking, fixturing, plating operations, and teardown. This role includes
processing hard Chrome, Thin Dense Chrome, Cadmium, Plating, Copper Plating, and Electroless Nickel for aerospace and industrial components.

Responsibilities
• Prepare parts for plating including cleaning, masking, and setup
• Design and build anodes, racks, fixtures, and tooling as required
• Perform I D (inner diameter) and OD (outer diameter) plating operations
• Set u p and operate plating tanks and equipment
• Monitor plating parameters including time, temperature, and current density
• Apply masking techniques t o protect critical surfaces
• Perform assembly and fixturing prior to plating
• Conduct teardown and post-process handling of parts
• Ensure proper documentation and traveler completion
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Work closely with Quality and Production teams to meet customer requirements

Qualifications
• Experience in electroplating or related manufacturing processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Hands-on experience with masking, fixturing, and tooling
• Understanding of plating chemistry and process controls
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up t o 50 lbs
• Work in a chemical processing environment with appropriate PPE
